Humanity's Greatest Search;
What is it that Obstructs
our Brilliant Theoretical
Physicists Discovering:
The Final Theory?
The next pages contain general
descriptions of the
state of Theoretical Physics, Reductionism
and Quantum Mechanics at the onset of
the 21st century. In this review the
emphasis is on the question: What is it
that causes the failure to include the Observer in the analyses of the
Ultimate Reality of the Universe, the Theories of Everything. The
review
parallels the theorisations presented in the newly published book: THE
LITTLE SCROLL, which presents a Theories of Everything that
includes
the Life and Consciousness of the Observer. Parts of this file are
taken
from the writings of: Johann Grolle, Richard Restak, Stephen
Hawking,
John Boslough and others.

"Quantum mechanics appears
to describe a universal order that includes us in a very special way.
In
fact, our minds may enter into nature in a way we had not imagined
possible
... Perhaps the appearance of the physical world is magical because the
orderly processes of science fail to take the observer into account. The order of the
universe
may be the order of our own minds."

Professor Fred Alan Wolf.
Part Three:
The question; "What is it
that Obstructs our Brilliant Theoretical Physicists Discovering the
Final
Theory?" may seem a strange and
illogical
one. This is beign initially dealti with here in this part in
philosophical
terms, but a part of that dialouge is explained by Sir Peter B. Medewar
in his brilliant book of esays, which is described here later. The part
further
discusses the neurological and psychological reasons for the sicentists
being currently incabable of relising The
Ultimated
Recipe of the Universe and
explains
what this has to do with the differance
in brain performance between individuals
and the assymetry of the human brain.
The Observer's
Doubts
Three generalized skeptic considerations
connect
to the search for the final answer, but here it is certain that the
building
of ever bigger accelerators is not an insurance policy for the
discovery
of The Ultimated Recipe of the Universe.
Following are the general doubts:
a |
Perhaps
there
is not any Recipe for the Universe. The question Why?, could end in an
never ending question. The ultimate truth of the Universe could be
founded
in pure coincidences. |
b |
Man's
ability to understand could be to limited in order to understand the
recipe
for the Universe. Certainly, says Weinberg, a dog will never be capable
of understanding quantum mechanics. |
c |
It
is possible that the physicists will in the end have to satisfy
themselves
with the Anthropic Principle,
which is a sort of easy escape for God through the back door: The
Universe
is as it is--this rule says--because it is the only Universe where Men
exist and can ask the question; Why is the Universe as it is? |
However, many believe that the dream
of the Final
Unification Recipe
will be shipwrecked in a less mystical manner. This through on fault in
the Superstring theories of the physicists: The particles which occupy
their additional Universe, are nowhere to be found. To produce them,
tremendous
energy is needed, energies really close to the initial energy of
creation.
For this a lot of money is needed. After the SSC has been scraped, new
hopes had arissen for the latest developments indicating that the much
cheaper method of the Superconductive
Magnet Dual-Loop Track Accelerator
may reach the same, or higher energies as the scuttled SSC was
intended.
In the meantime the number of Superstring Theories
of Everything, with
their nowhere to be found extra dimensions
and failiure to connect to the DNA-moleclule
and Consciousness, continues
to mount, with no on knowing which theory is the right one, and with no
apparent methods of deciding this. A similar fait seems to be in store
for the Parallel
Universe Membrane Theory,
or the M-Theory.
Currently the worlds two largest acclerators
are in competition in achieving the greater energies. Both of them have
been and are undergoing what may be the last achivable techincal
boosting
possible through Superconductive Magnet Dual-Loop Tracks.
Presently the most powerful accelerator on earth, the European
consortium
Dual-Loop Accelerator of CERN, creates a thousand million times less
energy
than what is needed for the unification of all the forces of nature.
However, the coming beef-up boosting of the Tevatron at the University
of Chicago may present the highest energy thinkable experiment of this
sort. The faith that physicist have that the goal of The
Ultimate Rescipe of the Universe is within reach, is
based
on the beauty of the Superstring theories, but when the super boosting
of Tevatron is compleated, then the physicists will get their answer to
the question, whether they will find everything or nothing.
The Wave Function
of the Universe
In all this, the previously
mentioned demand for the inclusion of the observer in the findings of
Man's
investigation of the physical reality, has disappeared completely from
the arena of the material world's investigating sciences. With it have
also dissappeared any disscussions of higher realities in existence.
Stephen
Hawking has none the less expressed his believes in this final search
of
Man "I would like to know exactly what
happened
between 10-33
second and 10-43.
It is there that the ultimate answer to all questions about the
universe--life
itself included--lies." What is
here
the foundation of this deceleration is the hope of the physicists to
find
the "program" for the wave function of the Universe. That would then
represent
the "program" for all wave functions, as well as the wave function of
the
human brain, or the fundamental program of the quantum wave. In this is
the very suggestion that the ultimate "program" for the wave function
is
the key to the "ultimate answer to all
questions
about the universe--life itself included"
that Hawkings is demanding. As far as concerns the human brain and
consciousness,
this program is its ultimate realty program and this is precisely the
findings
of the QF-theory.
This is perhaps nothing new either, T. H. Huxley said
this about a hundred years ago, this without knowing in what manner the
question would have to be answered "The
question
of all questions for humanity, the problem behind all others, and which
is more interesting than any others, is to establish Man's position in
nature and his connection to the Universe."

While Einstein partook in this search, he was quoted as saying "I
want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in the
phenomena
of the spectra of this or that element; I want to know his thought; The
rest are de tails." This reflects his remarkable focus
on
what is relevant or matters most, when it comes to knowledge.
Still quantum
mechanic
pops into our contemplation since all wave-functions are of quantum
mechanical
nature, but here it is Fred Alan Wolf who comments; "Quantum
mechanics appears to describe a universal order that includes us in a
very special way. In fact, our minds may enter into nature in a way we
had not imagined possible ... Perhaps the
|
appearance of the physical world
is magical because the orderly processes
of science fail to take the observer into account. The order of the
universe
may be the order of our own minds." This remark is one
of
themost intuitively brilliant according to the understanding of the
files
author and according to the QF-theory,
this is presisely the case with our brains, but here the words "thought"
and "mind" are considered to mean the contents of the
brain's
wave of consciousness.
In the search of the sciences for the solution to the greatest of all
enigmas,
that of the consciousness of Man, the author finds one "state of the
investigation"
report in a Scientific American´s special issue of Sep-
tember
'93. The report contains the following remark- able comment of
Professor
Gerald D. Fischbach; "Philosophical search
has to be implemented with experiments which are now amongst the most
im-
portant, challenging and exciting in all of the sciences and history of
science. Our survival, and probably of all life on this planet, depends
on a more complete understanding of the human brain." |

Richard M. Restak

|
This
reminds us that we cannot discuss these issues without the famous
psycho-biologist,
Dr. Richard M. Restak´s rmarkable remark; "Since
the brain is unlike any other structure in the known universe, it seems
reasonable to expect that our understanding of its functioning--if it
can
ever be achieved--will require approaches that are drastically
different
from the way we understand other physical systems. This is not a call
for
nihilism, but humility.--Our most strik- ing recent conceptual advances
in
psycho-biology --microcircuitry and holography--are the results of
having the courage to relinquish traditional and no longer
rewarding
viewpoints in favor of bold, imagi- native, and innovative conceptual
schemes.. |
Is there, therefore, any more
reasonable response to such consideration than humility? After all are
not our brains a part of the same physical universe whose essential
nature
remains, after thousands of years of speculation, essentially
mysterious?"
Restak declares the search for the final understanding of the functions
of the human brain to be "The final
frontier of science."
Shortly before his death,
the 1961 Nobel laureate zoologist, Peter Medawar,
wrote a remarkable book which he called THE
LIMITS OF SCIENCE. In this book
Medawar
drew up his reasons for believing that scien- tific discovery regarding
basic
truths in nature, could not be predetermined. Man could not simply
decide
that he would now go out and discover something fundament- ally new.
Such
discoveries, throughout history, had always come about in other ways.
More
or less through coincidence. Here one comes to think of the words of
the
prophets of the Old Testament, which say that; God gives insights only
to those who are prepared to receive them on His terms. Medawar
complained
bitterly, that he could not believe, that he had no faith, and referred
|
 |
Sir Peter Medawar

|
to the great
confession of faith made
by Sir Francis Beacon. He further made references to the science
philosopher,
Karl Popper who offered this:
 |
Karl Popper
1902 - 1994
|
"The more we learn of the world, and the deeper our learning, the more
conscious, specific, and art iculate will be our knowledge of what we
do
not know, our knowledge of our ignorance. For this, indeed, is the main
source of our ignorance--the fact that our knowledge can be only finite
while our ignorance must necessarily be infinite."
It would
indeed, be a charmer if the prediction of Pro- fessor John Wheeler
regarding
Man’s search for The Recipe of the
Universe--and The
Recipy for Man, should turn out to
be on the mony; "Behind it all is
surely
an idea so simple, so beautiful, so com- pelling that when--in a
decade,
a century or a
|
millennium--we grasp it, we will
all say to each other,
how could it be otherwise?
How could we have been so stupid for so long?"
This would certainly
be the result if Man ended up by finding himself and the reasons for
his
outrageous behavior. If the search does not end that way, then we fear
that Man's search for The Recipe of
the Universe--and The
Recipy for Man, could turn into
the
never ending search. The Never Ending Story, or that the
End
of Man will arrive before any final answer is gained. Perhaps
the
collective conclusion of these contemplations are best expressed with
the
words of Albert Einstein when he said "Religion
without science is blind and science without religion is lame!"
or perhaps he got closer to this when he said "The
most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the
fundamental
emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science."
The conclusion from all this is that
the search of science is still Man's search for himself. A search that
demands that no stone be left unexamined, and nothing be judged as
worthless
before it is scrutinized. Least of all that which seems strange and
difficult.
This includes a fearless search inwards into the chambers of the soul,
without any denials of the truth about us selves. It is for the
existence
of the deceptions that individuals cannot achieve this all alone.
The reminder on the temple in Delphi; "Man
know thy self" is still in full validity. Sigmund Freud
did in fact hit the nail on the head when he said "The
voice of the intellect is a soft one, but it does not rest until it has
gained a hearing. Ultimately, after endless rebuffs, it succeeds. This
is one of the few points in which one may be optimistic about the
future
of man- kind." This is certainly true, but here appears
further
one of the prime Pardoxes of Man, Enigmas of Man. Why is it like this?
Could it be that Freud was suggest- ing the "voice of silence", and we
simply
do not know how to listen to it? That we do not know how to be quite?
That
the suggestion of those who claim that the inner voice is the voice of God, is really true. |
 |
Sigmund Freud
1856 - 1939
|
If so, then why is it so garbled
in most cases and why can't we “decipher it” through mathematics?
These are our next questions and they
have to do with consciousness of Man, but here Freud hiself becomes the
prime witness, or rather, the prime human experimental specimen. It is
Sigmund Freud that is now, at the onset of the 21st century, emerging
as
the active alcohol and drug addict that wrote the psychology of the
20th
century, and no one--particulairily leading academics--found anything
suspiscious
in this fact. It is now becoming clear that Sigmund Freud was a third
stage
alcoholic, who died from the cancer caused by his addiciton, but this
means
that his writings have a distinct value in the assesment of the effects
of the alcoholic "failed-reuptak created
spataial
hemsipheric filter". This can be studied in our file on
the healthy and malignant functions of the human brain.

The
End of Story in this File-part is that it’s Author
claims that he has--through extraordinary circumstances --solved the
Enigma
of why Man has not been able to find the Ultimate Recipe for the
Universe,
Life and Consciousness. This is presented in Part #2, the next Part of
this File.
What
is more is that he claims the Solution to the Enigma
of the Ultimate Theory of Everything, has been handed to him in a
Spiritual
Vision. The Physics of which are introduced in Part #3, the third and
last
Part of this File.
The whole of these grandiose claims is
then crowned by
the Claim that these Processes of Insight have been prophesied in The
Book
of Revelation, the Connections to which are presented in The Revelation
Files.
